Mobile Messaging Terms

Mobile alerts from the Jessica Dixon Heitman for State Representative Campaign and periodic messages will never cost money to receive, but carrier message and data rates may apply.

A. SMS and MMS Text Messaging Program

Through its technology platforms and associated services, Jessica Dixon Heitman for State Representative Campaign (the “Campaign”) may engage in mobile messaging campaigns in which individuals may subscribe to receive messages on a wireless device via short message service (“SMS”) or multimedia message service (“MMS”), otherwise known as text messages. Message frequency will vary depending on campaign activity and user preferences.

In connection with the Campaign’s text messaging program, the Campaign is responsible for:

a. Obtaining prior express written consent from subscribers to receive text messages;
b. The collection and management of subscriber lists, and the preparation and distribution of all message content; and
c. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry guidelines, including those related to privacy and data security.

By opting in to receive text messages from Jessica Dixon Heitman for State Representative Campaign, you consent to the following:

1. You may receive recurring campaign-related text messages at the mobile number provided;

2. Messages may be sent using an autodialer or other automated technology;

3. Consent to receive messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services; and

4. You confirm that you are at least 13 years of age.

B. Cancellation / Opt-Out

You may cancel or opt out of receiving text messages from Jessica Dixon Heitman for State Representative Campaign at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, or END to any message you receive.

Phone and Text Outreach

Campaign staff, volunteers, or vendors may contact you by phone or text regarding campaign activities. If you wish to be removed permanently from our contact lists, please follow opt-out instructions or contact us directly at Electjessicadixonheitman@gmail.com. Please allow up to 8–10 business days for processing.
